How it works

Good furniture shouldn't ride to the landfill because nobody knew it was there.

Spot it

See something good on the curb, or putting something out yourself? Snap a photo and add a few words. It takes about 15 seconds.

Corners, never addresses

Every post snaps to the nearest crossroads. Faces and license plates are always blurred before a photo leaves your phone.

Always fresh

Neighbors confirm what's still out there, and posts fade after 24 hours. No driving across town for a couch that's long gone.

Together, not first come first brag

Fill the skyline.

Every rescued item counts toward Charlotte's monthly goal. No leaderboards and no racing to the curb, just a city keeping good stuff out of the landfill. Hit the goal, and the crown lights up.

Items nobody claims can be routed to local donation partners, so they still find a home.

For property managers

Less left by the dumpsters.

Every move-out season, usable furniture piles up at your dumpster areas and gets hauled off at your expense. As Seen on Curb gives residents an easy way to pass it on to neighbors and local donation partners instead.

  • QR signs for each dumpster area that tag posts to that spot
  • A manager portal showing what was claimed, donated and hauled
  • Move-out reports you can share with residents and your team
  • Residents' names and contact details are never shared with us or anyone else

Free move-out pilot

We supply the signs and the report. You send one resident note before move-out week. We'll draft it for you.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Browsing, posting and claiming are free. Nothing on the map is for sale.

Will people see my address?

No. Posts show the nearest intersection, never a street address. Your name is hidden unless you choose to show it, and faces and license plates in photos are always blurred.

What can I post?

Usable furniture and home goods that are free for the taking: couches, dressers, tables, lamps, rugs and more. Only post items that are clearly meant to be given away.
